I had been into cycling for about two years when I first met Mike. He was always ready to push my boundaries. Through him I learned to sprint, climb and build my endurance for century rides. It took him a lot of convincing but he finally get me into trying a local evening race. The first race was a little scary as I learned not to use my brakes in a turn. After than there was no turning back.

With Mike's help, I was able to get back on the bike and ride again pain free from chronic injuries. Mike's biomechanical bicycle fitting allowed to increase my power, flexibility and improve my form. I am also recovering better from each ride. Additionally, I was able to put 2.5 minutes on my friend on a 10 minute climb.

Thank you very much for the excellent coaching that you provided
me. In the six weeks that you coached me I became a lot stronger
on the climbs and had a lot more endurance throughout my rides.
I have taken 20 minutes off of my local 10.5 mile loop and during
the Xterra Iceman Cometh race that I was training for, I took
36 minutes off my previous time. I felt great the whole race.
The previous time I did this race I had to walk 5 of the 7 major
climbs and I had a very rough time with bad leg cramps. This
year’s race I never got off the bike once. It was great to be
able to ride past all of the people that were pushing their
bikes up some of those climbs. I believe that your nutritional
calculator worked fantastic and that is why my leg cramps and
endurance was so good. I can't thank you enough. I am recommending
you to everyone that I know who really want to get results

"I have been a runner on and off for over 20years. Running track in high school and then again after college. I considered myself to be a 9 to 10 minute miler. After just doing about 15 min of drills with Mike to help my running mechanics, I did my first sub 7 minute mile (7:10) in my life! Thank you so much Mike for giving me a whole new world of possibilities."

After riding fairly casually for the past few years, and entering the odd race here and there, I decided this season I wanted to take it to the next level. As such I didn't want just any coach, but one who understood a program based on more than just mileage and random intervals. Athletically I used to be a collegiate sprinter, and academically my background is in exercise physiology and chiropractic, so I was fairly demanding in what I was looking for.
Mike's vast knowledge of biomechanics, functional movement, and the true physiological training zones showed immediately. In under four months my peak power has jumped from 1074W to 1225W, and my 8-minute threshold power has jumped 33%! (241W to 320W). I am more confident in group rides and races knowing that he has given me more "matches to burn". I have also done this despite a busy work schedule and only being able to train 8hrs a week or less (many coaches told me it would be '"impossible" to expect to improve so rapidly on such little volume). Mike does in fact make every second of my training count. I can't wait to see how much I can continue to improve under his excellent guidance.
